We made this mini home "movie" from video shorts we took while hiking at Dusty Lakes last month. Had to work with the footage we got in the field once we got home, but it was a fun project to put together...

MasterChef Junior Eva

Eva is obsessed with the new MasterChef Junior show, so we are trying to give her some opportunities to help us in the kitchen. When she's in the mood, she doesn't want any help. She wants to do it all herself. These are videos when we made shrimp egg rolls and she did most the work, including dicing all the shrimp, which was her favorite part.

early Christmas 2014

Here's pics from our early Christmas. We made do with a lampstand Christmas tree this year, but I think it actually looked good, and the kids liked it. The favorite gift of all was Peter's Blaze the Dragon from GG. Man, he is obsessed with that thing! He even took it to the gym this morning.

This weekend was busy, with a trip to Leavenworth on Saturday for very crowded Christmas festivities and then our "early" Christmas morning on Sunday.



Here are a few videos. The first is a bit of Eva's school concert. The kindergarten class sang 4 songs, but Peter was being relatively disruptive so it was hard to videotape it. Here is the ABCs in sign language and then the Christmas ABCs song.

This next video was Peter inspired to sing in the car on the way home from Eva's concert. Of course, he was singing much longer version while we were walking to the car. This was all he would sing once we got there.
